Digvijay Chautala, the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) candidate from the Dabwali assembly constituency, revealed on Thursday that he is dedicating significant time to village life as part of his campaign for the upcoming assembly elections. Chautala emphasized that he is keen on understanding the issues faced by villagers and assisting them in their everyday tasks.

Chautala expressed his gratitude for being embraced as a younger member by village families, allowing him to immerse himself in the local culture. "While honoring election routines, I make it a point to avoid wasting time. Being treated as a younger family member here is my fortune, and it helps me better understand the area's basic needs and problems," Chautala told ANI.

Highlighting the practical benefits of his approach, Chautala noted that waking up early provides valuable extra hours. He serves cows, engages with local youth on sports fields, and learns about their challenges. "This routine aids in connecting closely with the village people and understanding their problems. It's truly a learning experience for me," he added.

Looking ahead to the Haryana Assembly elections, JJP has formed an alliance with Chandra Shekhar Azad's Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram), and they plan to contest all 90 seats. In the previous 2019 elections, the BJP's coalition government included JJP, but the alliance has since dissolved. Voting is scheduled for October 5, with results expected on October 8 alongside those for Jammu and Kashmir.
