Vinay Mishra Appointed Vice-Chairman of Delhi Jal Board

Aam Aadmi Party's Dwarka MLA Vinay Mishra has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of Delhi Jal Board. Ambedkar Nagar MLA Ajay Dutt and Trinagar MLA Preeti Jitender Tomar have also been nominated as Board members. This appointment follows the resignation of former Vice-Chairman Somnath Bharti.

In a significant political development, Aam Aadmi Party's Dwarka MLA Vinay Mishra has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB).

Ambedkar Nagar MLA Ajay Dutt and Trinagar MLA Preeti Jitender Tomar have also been nominated as Board members, according to an order by the Delhi Legislative Assembly on Wednesday.

The nomination of the new Vice-Chairman has been made as per the Delhi Jal Board Act of 1998, following the resignation of former Vice-Chairman Somnath Bharti, who stepped down before the Lok Sabha elections in May. Mishra expressed his gratitude to AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal and committed to improving Delhi's water supply infrastructure.
