The BJP kicked off a significant membership drive in Rajasthan on Wednesday, marking the birth anniversary of RSS ideologue Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.
BJP state president Madan Rathore visited Dausa, addressing a group at a local booth. He urged them to view the party as a family and join.
Rathore highlighted Upadhyay's ethos, noting that politics should serve the public akin to family service, aiming to ensure every citizen has access to basic amenities and opportunities.
He added that although implementing these changes takes time, Modi's administration has focused on providing food, shelter, and employment.
The drive, which started at 8 am, aims to enlist 25 lakh new members, engaging around 2.5 lakh party workers. Dr. Arun Chaturvedi, the campaign's state convenor, stated that all state office bearers and district representatives would assist with membership formalities at local booths.
