PM Modi Urges Voter Participation in Jammu and Kashmir Elections
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called on voters in Jammu and Kashmir to actively participate in the second round of the Union Territory’s assembly elections. Over 2.5 million voters will decide the fate of 239 candidates, including former chief minister Omar Abdullah, across six districts.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to voters in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday to use their franchise as the second round of polling in the Union Territory commenced.
"I appeal to all voters that they must cast their votes and play an important role in strengthening democracy," Modi stated, addressing first-time voters.
The second phase of the assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir began on Wednesday, where over 2.5 million voters are set to determine the fate of 239 candidates vying for 26 seats, including former chief minister Omar Abdullah's seat.
These constituencies span six districts—three in the Valley and three in the Jammu division.
