Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau voiced his alarm over the fatalities of women and children in Lebanon, labeling the situation as 'extraordinarily concerning.' He called upon Israel and Hezbollah to reduce tensions and cease hostilities.

Trudeau, speaking from New York at the United Nations General Assembly, stressed the urgency of stopping the violence. 'The women, the children killed in Lebanon is extraordinarily concerning,' he told reporters.

'We need to ensure de-escalation on both sides,' Trudeau added, emphasizing the importance of protecting civilian lives and moving towards regional peace and stability.
