Punjab CM Urges New Ministers to Commit to Pro-People Schemes

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday called upon five newly inducted Cabinet ministers to execute their duties with dedication, emphasizing the need to ensure that the benefits of the government's pro-people schemes reach the grassroots level.

Mann's directive came during a meeting with the ministers at his official residence, an official release stated.

The chief minister highlighted that the electorate of Punjab has entrusted the ministers with a significant responsibility, following a decisive mandate in the Assembly elections.

Stressing the importance of working with sincerity, honesty, and commitment for the state's well-being and progress, Mann underscored the urgency of resolving public issues promptly to restore Punjab's prestige and establish it as a leading state in the country.

The state government, led by Mann, had inducted Hardeep Singh Mundian, Barinder Kumar Goyal, Tarunpreet Singh Sond, Ravjot Singh, and Mohinder Bhagat as Cabinet ministers on Monday during a Cabinet reshuffle.
