Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday accused the BJP of creating an 'epidemic of unemployment' that's devastating youth in Haryana. She stated that when Congress takes control of the state government, it will implement concrete measures to halt migration and prevent families from being torn apart.

Emphasizing Congress' commitment, Gandhi said the party aims to lift the despair among the youth and lead Haryana towards progress.

'The BJP has caused severe unemployment, ruining the lives of promising youths,' she lamented in a post in Hindi on X. 'Haryana has 4.5 lakh government positions, of which 1.8 lakh are vacant. BJP has gravely failed the youth of Haryana by crushing their hopes for a better future,' she asserted.

The AICC general secretary promised that once Congress forms the government, 2 lakh permanent jobs will be created in the state. 'Additionally, we'll take robust actions to prevent migration and the breakdown of families. We are committed to eradicating youth despair and leading Haryana towards development,' she concluded.

Polling for Haryana's 90 assembly seats will occur on October 5, with results announced on October 8.
