Former minister Rao Narbir Singh has definitively ruled himself out of the race for Haryana's Chief Minister post, declaring his focus is on addressing Gurugram's escalating civic problems.

In an interview, Singh said he is committed to improving Gurugram's infrastructure, criticizing the BJP-JJP coalition for the city's current state. Denied a ticket in the 2019 assembly polls, he is now standing from Gurugram's Badhsahpur, the largest constituency by voters.

Singh plans to implement comprehensive drainage systems and introduce signal-free underpasses to alleviate traffic congestion, among other infrastructure projects. He is up against Congress' Vardhan Yadhav and incumbent MLA's wife, Kumudni Daultabad, in the upcoming October elections.
