In a sharp critique, BJP spokesperson Ajay Alok has accused former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of failing to deliver on his promises to the people of the national capital. Speaking to ANI on Monday, Alok highlighted several issues, including the cleanliness of the Yamuna river and frequent water-logging after rains.
Alok compared Kejriwal's governance to the misdeeds of Shumbha Nishumbha, mythological asuras, asserting that the Delhi populace suffers from inadequate drinking water and severe flooding. He labeled AAP as a 'mahaan paapi party,' accusing them of deception and corruption.
'The day he resigned, I suggested Kejriwal should bathe in the Yamuna,' Alok pointedly remarked, criticizing Kejriwal's unfulfilled promises. Meanwhile, AAP leader Atishi took charge as Delhi's Chief Minister on September 22, succeeding Kejriwal after his recent legal troubles in the excise policy case.
