Former Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam has lambasted Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, for his contentious remarks about the Sikh community and reservation policies during his US visit. Krishnam demanded an apology, accusing Gandhi of tarnishing India's image abroad.
Speaking to ANI on Sunday, Krishnam stated, 'Rahul Gandhi tells a lot of lies, he lies to the people of the country, to his party members, to women, and to farmers too, he even lies to the depressed and impoverished classes. He should apologize to the nation for his comments.'
BJP MP Anurag Thakur also condemned Gandhi, accusing him of aligning with anti-India elements and consistently disrespecting the country during his foreign trips. 'Rahul Gandhi has created new records on telling lies,' Thakur remarked. Meanwhile, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi defended his statements, asserting they were in line with India's values of unity and diversity.
