Prime Minister Narendra Modi has outlined ambitious goals for his third term aimed at transforming India into a developed nation. Speaking to thousands of Indian Americans in New York, Modi emphasized the unprecedented electoral mandate he received this year.
"After going through this tough election process, this long election system, something unprecedented happened in India (this year). What happened… 'Abkibaar Modi Sarkaar,'" he said.
Modi underscored his lifelong dedication to good governance and a prosperous India, noting that his rise in politics was driven by destiny. He acknowledged that this electoral victory was shaped by the Indian public's approval of his governance model over the last decade.
