The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), spearheaded by Union Minister Chirag Paswan, confirmed on Sunday its plans to contest the 2025 Bihar assembly elections under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) banner, guided by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
In a state parliamentary board gathering, the party passed a resolution endorsing committed party workers to be prioritized in the candidate selection for the forthcoming assembly polls.
Addressing attendees, board chief Hulas Pandey emphasized the party's mission to fulfill the legacy of late Ram Vilas Paswan under Chirag Paswan's leadership, highlighting their previous electoral success. Bihar unit president Raju Tiwary assured a united fight for the next assembly elections to secure all allocated seats.
