Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi's tour was unexpectedly cut short on Sunday due to a technical problem with his helicopter, officials stated.
Majhi, who was on a three-day visit to Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts, aborted his planned visit to Baripada town in Mayurbhanj. He has since begun his return journey to Bhubaneswar by road.
The snag developed while he was transitioning from Keonjhar to Mayurbhanj. Despite the disruption, earlier on the third day of his tour, he attended a significant programme celebrating the new BJP government's 100 days in office in Odisha.
