The Congress on Sunday appointed Uday Bhanu Chib as the new president of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC), succeeding Srinivas B V.

Srinivas B V served over five years, with his tenure highlighted by significant relief work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chib, previously serving as the general secretary of IYC, is also a former president of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress, and he hails from Paloura, Jammu.
