Former J&K Governor to Campaign for MVA in Maharashtra Elections

Former Jammu and Kashmir governor Satya Pal Malik has declared his intention to campaign for the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in the forthcoming Maharashtra elections, predicting a significant defeat for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Malik held a media briefing after meeting with Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray at Thackeray's Mumbai residence. Malik, a crucial figure in the abrogation of Jammu and Kashmir's special status, stated, "The BJP will not just receive a major blow, but the party will be wiped out in the state elections. Uddhav Thackeray will play the most important role in this election. You need not worry."
The 288-member Maharashtra assembly elections are anticipated to be held in November. Malik emphasized that the election results will significantly impact the political landscape of the country while pledging his full support to the MVA and his commitment to campaign for the coalition.
