Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday arrived in New York to attend an Indian community event and address a significant conclave at the United Nations.
Following the Quad Leaders' meeting in Wilmington, hosted by President Joe Biden, Prime Minister Modi departed for New York.
The Quad Leaders' Summit, held in Biden's hometown Wilmington, saw the participation of Prime Minister Modi, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
''After programs in Delaware, landed in New York. Eager to be among the diaspora at the community program in the city and to take part in other events,'' Prime Minister Modi posted on X.
Modi is on a three-day US visit. In New York, he will attend an Indian community event at Long Island on September 22 and address the Summit of the Future at the UN General Assembly the following day.
The prime minister's other engagements include partaking in a round table with CEOs of American companies working on advanced technologies such as AI, quantum computing, and semiconductors.
