Modi and Biden Discuss Deepening Strategic Partnership at Quad Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden met on the sidelines of the Quad summit held in Wilmington, Delaware, to discuss a range of pressing issues, including the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The leaders reviewed pathways to deepen the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. Modi, welcomed warmly by Biden, was accompanied by high-ranking officials, including External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri. The U.S. delegation included Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.
In addition to bilateral talks, Modi will meet with leaders from Australia and Japan and address the UN General Assembly. He will also engage with the Indian diaspora and top American business leaders in New York.
