In a bid to stabilize the country's political landscape, French President Emmanuel Macron has unveiled a new government. The announcement was made by Macron's chief of staff, Alexis Kohler, from the presidential Elysee Palace on Saturday.
With the aim of addressing the political deadlock resulting from an inconclusive snap election that left the parliament hung for 2-1/2 months, the newly formed government includes prominent figures like Antoine Armand as finance minister and Jean-Noel Barrot as foreign minister.
This government is largely composed of centrist and conservative parties, signaling Macron's strategy to create a balanced and effective administration capable of navigating France through its current challenges.
