Prime Minister Narendra Modi met U.S. President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the Quad summit in Wilmington, Delaware, on Saturday. The leaders discussed several key issues, including the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The meeting, held at Biden's home, aimed at identifying new pathways to strengthen the India-U.S. Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan indicated that Modi's recent visit to Ukraine would be a significant topic of discussion.
Biden warmly welcomed Modi, leading him into his residence. Modi's U.S. visit will also feature bilateral meetings with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, as well as engagements in New York with the Indian diaspora and American business leaders.
