Deadly Israeli Airstrike Kills Hezbollah Leaders in Beirut Suburb
An Israeli airstrike on a Beirut suburb killed 37 people, including two senior Hezbollah leaders, sparking intensified hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah. Two Hezbollah leaders were among those killed in an Israeli airstrike on a Beirut suburb, Israel's military reported Saturday, raising the attack's death toll to 37, including women and children.
Israel and Hezbollah continued exchanging fire the next day, following the deaths of Ibrahim Akil, in charge of Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force, and Ahmed Wahbi, another senior commander in Hezbollah's military wing.
According to Firas Abiad, the casualties included seven women and three children. He stated that 68 others were wounded, with 15 hospitalized, and search and rescue operations are ongoing, suggesting that the number of casualties may rise.
