Atishi, Delhi's third and youngest woman chief minister, has assumed leadership during a challenging period for the AAP, amid corruption accusations. Despite the turmoil, Atishi is no stranger to adversity.
A graduate of St Stephen's College, she climbed the ranks from being an advisor to Manish Sisodia on education policies to becoming a minister and eventually succeeding Arvind Kejriwal as chief minister.
Her cabinet induction occurred during Kejriwal's tumultuous arrest on excise policy charges. As the new chief minister, Atishi is tasked with crucial responsibilities, including expediting key policies ahead of next year's assembly elections, ensuring her party's bid for power remains strong.
