Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke emphatically on Saturday about the BJP's unwavering commitment to the development of Jammu and Kashmir, a region that has suffered significantly due to three-and-a-half decades of terrorism.

Addressing an election rally in Poonch district, Shah criticized the National Conference, Congress, and PDP for allowing terrorism to spread. He claimed that funds intended for public welfare were instead diverted to counterterrorism efforts.

He also reassured that the BJP is focused on transforming the youth from being 'compelled' to 'strong,' ensuring special recruitment drives and better opportunities. Shah also emphasized promoting tourism in underdeveloped regions and assured that community reservations will remain intact.
