Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy aims to present Ukraine's 'victory plan' against Russia during his upcoming visit to the United States. Next week, he plans to meet Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump as well as U.S. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Zelenskiy stated, without providing further details, that a meeting with Trump is likely to take place between September 26-27. Trump faces Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming U.S. election on November 5.
The 'victory plan,' a blueprint for ending the war diplomacy, depends on swift decisions from key allies between October and December. Zelenskiy is expected to urge Washington to lift restrictions on long-range missile strikes inside Russia, as Ukranian forces aim to counter Russian advances in eastern Ukraine.
