In a stern critique, Congress president Mallikarkun Kharge labeled the BJP-led NDA coalition government as a 'thugbandhan' on Wednesday, claiming that its first 100 days in office have been 'very difficult' for the country.
Kharge shared his thoughts on social media platform X, using a rhyming Hindi verse to emphasize his point.
'The country is exhausted with this 'thugbandhan,' and there is no tolerance left among the public,' Kharge stated.
Supporting Kharge's claims, Congress general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh pointed out that the government's term has been plagued by numerous U-turns and scandals, further criticizing the administration for not addressing India's unemployment crisis.
'The issue of mass unemployment has been a longstanding concern, yet the government has failed to act decisively,' Ramesh added in a statement.
