President Joe Biden has urged for additional assistance for the U.S. Secret Service after an assassination attempt on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was thwarted this past weekend.
Addressing reporters on Monday, Biden mentioned that he had not yet received a comprehensive report on the incident that took place at Trump's Florida golf course. He expressed relief that the former president was unharmed.
