In a dramatic twist, the Supreme Court granted interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal amid a money laundering scandal. This development prompted Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to sharpen his political attacks, dubbing Kejriwal as someone entrenched in corruption. 'Kejriwal is mired in corruption. It's not the Aam Aadmi but the Akela Aadmi Party,' Saini told reporters.

As Haryana prepares for its upcoming election, Chief Minister Saini exuded optimism about securing a majority. 'We will form the government for the third term in the state with a full majority. I congratulate our candidates on filing their nominations and urge the people to vote for the BJP for development,' Saini said.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Kurukshetra to kick start the BJP's election campaign. Delhi's CM Kejriwal, recently released from Tihar jail following the Supreme Court's bail order, held a roadshow flanked by supporters. 'I've come out stronger. The walls of their jail cannot weaken my resolve,' Kejriwal asserted, vowing to continue his anti-corruption crusade.

Kejriwal was apprehended by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21 on money laundering charges tied to the now-scrapped Delhi Excise Policy. Despite the Supreme Court granting him interim bail till June 1, he was re-arrested by the CBI on June 26. As of July 12, the Supreme Court has again granted him interim bail in the ED case, but his CBI custody has been extended by Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court.
