Rajya Sabha MP Ram Chander Jangra narrowly escaped an attack on Thursday evening when a canter-truck allegedly chased his SUV from Sirsa district to his home in Meham, Haryana.

According to Jangra, the incident began when his SUV was caught in a traffic jam near Meham's Old Bus stand area. His security personnel discovered the bottleneck was caused by a stationary canter truck. When the gunman attempted to resolve the situation, the truck driver misbehaved but the gunman did not escalate the situation and returned to the vehicle.

As Jangra's SUV proceeded, the truck driver allegedly chased them and attempted to hit the vehicle. Jangra reported the incident to the Haryana Chief Minister and senior police officers. An FIR has been lodged and further investigation is underway, according to police from Meham.
