Kent Walker of Google, Nick Clegg of Meta, Brad Smith of Microsoft, and an Adobe representative will present their testimonies on September 18, confirmed by a spokesperson from Senator Mark Warner's office.
With a tightly contested election between Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican former President Donald Trump, U.S. officials are striving to mitigate disinformation from international actors, particularly Russia, Iran, and China.
