Ajit Pawar Denies Proposed Friendly Fight in Maharashtra Assembly Elections
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has denied claims that the BJP proposed a friendly fight among the ruling alliance partners for 25 assembly seats. He asserted that issues surrounding ticket distribution for all 288 seats would be resolved collaboratively among the BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Tuesday refuted allegations that the BJP had suggested a friendly competition for 25 assembly seats within the ruling alliance in the state.
Pawar assured that the BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP would collectively address ticket distribution matters for all 288 assembly seats. State BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule also rejected claims of any such proposal.
Pawar clarified that his recent meeting with Amit Shah was to discuss agricultural price issues and that any talk of contesting some seats individually was mere speculation.
