India's new Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish, has assured of India's unwavering commitment to reformed multilateralism and the revitalization of the UN. Harish presented his credentials to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres during an official ceremony at the UN headquarters.

'Deeply honored to present my letter of credence to UN Secretary-General @antonioguterres. It is a pride and immense responsibility to represent India at the United Nations,' Harish stated on social media, thanking Guterres for his support and friendship.

Harish, who arrived in New York recently to assume his duties, held productive discussions with Guterres, who praised India as a key pillar of the UN's democratic framework. They agreed on the necessity to enhance and reform multilateralism to tackle modern challenges and seize new opportunities. Harish also conveyed greetings from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.
