Odisha CM Hails BJP's 'People's Government' at Barang Membership Drive

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday praised the Bharatiya Janata Party's double-engine government in the state, referring to it as a people's government. Majhi was speaking at a booth-level membership drive in Barang, under the Banki Assembly Constituency in Cuttack district. He highlighted the BJP's ideology focused on comprehensive development for all citizens, aiming for a new and developed Odisha.
Majhi also criticized the former administration led by Naveen Patnaik, asserting that the previous BJD government failed to open Lord Jagannath's Ratna Bhandar. In contrast, he commended the BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making it a priority in their first cabinet session, opening not only the four gates but also the Ratna Bhandar of Lord Jagannath.
The membership drive, which began on September 2, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi, who renewed his membership. The drive is scheduled in two phases: September 2 to September 25 and October 1 to October 15, aimed at achieving comprehensive outreach nationwide.
