CPI General Secretary D Raja launched a scathing attack on the BJP on Saturday, accusing it of poaching leaders from other parties and using divisive issues like infiltration to polarize voters ahead of Jharkhand's assembly elections.

Raja, who arrived in Jharkhand to strategize for the upcoming polls, said, "The BJP and its conservative allies are targeting ruling parties in Jharkhand to cripple their functioning by poaching leaders if possible. This is happening here."

He also criticized the BJP's claims of increased infiltration in Jharkhand, particularly in Santhal Parganas, calling for an explanation from the Union home minister. Raja predicted BJP's defeat in Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, and Maharashtra, and expressed discontent over national issues like unemployment and inflation, accusing the central government of mismanagement.
