Manish Kumar Gupta Appointed New Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh

Senior IAS officer Manish Kumar Gupta has been appointed as the new chief secretary of Arunachal Pradesh. The Union Home Affairs Ministry issued a notification for his immediate appointment. Gupta, a 1991 batch officer, replaces C S Dharmendra, who has been transferred to Delhi. Chief Minister Pema Khandu extended his best wishes to Dharmendra.

In a significant administrative reshuffle, senior IAS officer Manish Kumar Gupta has been appointed as the new chief secretary of Arunachal Pradesh, according to an official notification.

The Union Home Affairs Ministry on Thursday confirmed Gupta's immediate appointment, as the 1991 batch IAS officer takes over from C S Dharmendra, who has been reassigned to New Delhi.

Gupta previously served in the Delhi administration as the principal secretary (Home) and additional chief secretary. Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu extended his heartfelt wishes to the outgoing chief secretary, Dharmendra, acknowledging his contributions to the state's development.
