New Rajya Sabha Members Take Oath After Bypolls
Abhishek Singhvi and Kiran Choudhry, among others, took oath as Rajya Sabha members after winning recent bypolls. The oath was administered by Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhar at Parliament House. The bypolls filled 12 seats vacated by members elected to the Lok Sabha.

Abhishek Singhvi of Congress and Kiran Choudhry of BJP were sworn in as Rajya Sabha members on Wednesday, having secured victories in the recent bypolls.
The oath-taking ceremony was conducted by Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhar at Parliament House, as confirmed by his office.
Other new members include BJP's Rameswar Teli, Union Minister George Kurian, and BJP's Dhairyashil Mohan Patil. These bypolls were held to fill 12 vacancies created when sitting members, including Union Ministers Piyush Goyal, Sarbananda Sonowal, and Jyotiraditya Scindia, were elected to the Lok Sabha.
