Ajit Doval, India's National Security Adviser, engaged in extensive political consultations with Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and other key leaders on Friday, in anticipation of the presidential election on September 21.
Doval's visit focused on advancing the Colombo Security Conclave (CSC) initiative. He met with various leaders including Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, opposition leader Sajith Premadasa, and Marxist JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
