Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia on Wednesday accused the BJP of orchestrating a conspiracy to imprison top leaders of the AAP, following his release from jail. He emphasized that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will also be freed soon.
During a 'padyatra' in Janakpuri, Sisodia claimed the BJP was unsettled by his release. He asserted that he had the backing of the people and the Constitution. Sisodia challenged BJP leaders to prove any corruption on his part, highlighting Kejriwal's initiatives like free electricity and education as evidence of their honest governance.
Sisodia recounted an incident where BJP workers displayed black flags during his padyatra in Mangolpuri. He suggested that those workers might face questions from their own families about targeting a leader who improved local schools. Sisodia reaffirmed that Kejriwal, who is currently imprisoned in Tihar jail, will emerge stronger.
