Kamala Harris Targets Trump's Project 2025 in New Ad Campaign

On Wednesday, Kamala Harris' presidential campaign will initiate a strategic ad campaign aimed at associating Donald Trump with Project 2025, a collection of conservative policy proposals Trump is expected to adopt if elected.

According to the Harris campaign, the first advertisement is set to air before her scheduled Sept. 10 debate against Trump, which will be broadcast by ABC. Despite attempts to distance himself from Project 2025, many of Trump's key policy advisers are heavily involved in the project.

The Harris campaign insists that Project 2025 illustrates the authoritarian and hard-right policies Trump would implement if elected on Nov. 5. The focus on Project 2025 is part of a $370 million media blitz targeting swing states in the campaign's final two months. Project 2025, detailed in a 900-page manifesto, calls for expanding presidential power, slashing environmental regulations, and curbing workplace diversity programs. Harris' ad campaign will run across key battleground states and the Palm-Beach-Fort Pierce media market, where Trump's primary residence is located. Recent polls indicate Harris has a slight lead over Trump.
