Mayawati Re-elected as BSP President, Reaffirms Commitment to Dalit and Minority Communities

Mayawati was unanimously re-elected as the national president of the BSP on Tuesday, reaffirming her commitment to advancing the interests of Dalits, Adivasis, and OBCs, according to a party statement.
The decision was made during a special meeting of the BSP Central Executive Committee (CEC) and senior officials at the national and state levels, with representatives from across the country.
Mayawati, 68, a four-time former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has held the party president position since 2003, following her declaration as political successor by BSP founder Kanshi Ram over two decades ago. She expressed readiness to make any sacrifice for the humanitarian mission of the BSP.
