PM Modi Champions Women's Empowerment and Economic Growth at Maharashtra Rally

Speaking at a Lakhpati Didi rally in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, Modi detailed the significant increase in loans provided to women self-help groups.

Modi also highlighted the necessity of stringent laws to punish crimes against women, stressing that his government is actively working to improve legal provisions for women's safety. He described Maharashtra as a pivotal state for India's development, urging continued support for the BJP-led Mahayuti government to ensure stability and economic growth.

The Prime Minister interacted with members of women's self-help groups, announcing a Rs 2,500 crore revolving fund to benefit 48 lakh members. Modi positioned the Lakhpati Didi scheme as a catalyst for not only boosting women's incomes but also empowering future generations.
