Early Sunday, the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah launched a substantial drone attack on Israel, citing retaliation for the killing of its commander, Fouad Shukur, in Beirut last month.
Hezbollah claimed the attack targeted a 'qualitative Israeli military target, to be announced later,' and also aimed at multiple enemy sites, barracks, and Iron Dome platforms. The group emphasized that these strikes were an initial response to the Beirut incident.
The Israeli military, in turn, confirmed its own strikes on Hezbollah locations in Lebanon, asserting that the militant group was gearing up for an assault on Israel.
