In a bold statement at the Samvidhan Samman Sammelan, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi emphasized the lack of representation of Dalits, tribals, and OBCs in the list of Miss India winners, as well as other high-profile sectors like corporates and Bollywood.

Gandhi reiterated his call for a nationwide ''caste census,'' arguing that the country's progress is hindered when 90 percent of its population remains underrepresented.

He sharply criticized the mainstream media, accusing it of ignoring the real issues and focusing instead on superficial achievements. Gandhi warned that the BJP might claim he is dividing the nation, but asserted that assessing true representation is essential for inclusive growth.
