The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) of conspiring to keep Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in jail related to the excise policy case.
Senior AAP officials, Manish Sisodia, and Atishi, have alleged that the CBI has misled the Supreme Court about the status of Kejriwal's bail plea, orchestrating a media narrative against him.
The BJP responded by challenging the AAP to confront the CBI in court. The Supreme Court has postponed the bail plea hearing to September 5, as the CBI requested additional time to submit its affidavit.
