Modi's visit to Ukraine comes six weeks after significant discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, highlighting India's diplomatic balancing act in this complex geopolitical scenario. During the visit, Modi reiterated India's dedication to a 'human-centric' approach in resolving the conflict. Zelenskyy extended an invitation to Modi to visit Kyiv during their meeting at the G7 summit in Italy.
