Union Minister Sanjay Seth has openly criticised the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) for sidelining former Chief Minister Champai Soren. Seth alleged that the ruling party failed to respect Soren's significant contributions, which has reportedly led Soren to consider establishing a new political party.

Seth told ANI on Thursday that the JMM not only failed to give Soren importance but also ordered him to vacate the Chief Minister's position. He expressed disappointment over the decision and emphasized Soren's efforts to form a new party ahead of the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections.

Champai Soren, a respected figure in Jharkhand politics, confirmed his intentions. He stated that he would not retire from politics and aims to create a new organisation, leaving the door open for future alliances. Soren's remarks come after he voiced his grievances on X, stating his perceived insult during his tenure as Chief Minister and his lifelong dedication to public service.
