Haryana Mobilizes Central Forces for Assembly Elections
Haryana has requested over 200 central forces companies to ensure free, fair, and peaceful polling for the upcoming assembly elections on October 1. Chief Electoral Officer Pankaj Agarwal said 70 companies have been allotted so far. The state prepares with 2.03 crore voters and 20,629 polling booths across urban and rural areas.

Haryana has sought over 200 companies of central forces to ensure the conduct of free, fair, and peaceful polling as the election for all 90 assembly seats in the state will be held on October 1.
Addressing a news conference, Haryana's Chief Electoral Officer Pankaj Agarwal said the state has demanded 225 companies of central forces, of which 70 have been already allotted.
The Election Commission announced the 90-member Haryana Assembly polls on October 1, with results declared on October 4. The Model Code of Conduct is now in effect. Agarwal said the state has over 2.03 crore voters, with polling booths set up across urban and rural areas. Voters can use various apps for election-related needs.
