The former deputy chief minister, recently released from Tihar Jail after 17 months due to an excise policy case, expressed happiness at reuniting with the public. 'They prayed for me and are now welcoming me back. They are also praying for Arvind Kejriwal, who will be out soon,' Sisodia told reporters during his two-hour march from DDA Flats, Kalkaji.
In a post on social media platform X, Sisodia shared an emotional moment where a woman tied a 'rakhi' on his hand, signifying the warmth and support he continues to receive from the community. The AAP leader plans to conduct similar marches in all 70 Delhi Assembly constituencies.
During the padyatra, locals greeted Sisodia with flowers and posters, hailing him as a 'revolutionary' in education. Announcements celebrated him as the 'father of the education revolution in Delhi.'
