AICC Announces Steering Committee for Odisha Amid OPCC Dissolution

The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Wednesday announced the formation of a steering committee for Odisha following the dissolution of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC).

According to a press release by AICC general secretary KC Venugopal, the newly formed committee comprises 14 members, with AICC in-charge for Odisha Ajoy Kumar appointed as the chairman.

Notable members of the committee include former Union minister Srikant Jena, Congress Legislature Party leader Rama Chandra Kadam, former OPCC president Jaidev Jena, and several other senior leaders. This development follows the AICC's decision to dissolve the OPCC after the general elections.
