Thailand's caretaker deputy premier Anutin Charnvirakul on Wednesday confirmed the ruling coalition's stability and advocated for the Pheu Thai Party to spearhead the formation of the new government following Srettha Thavisin's dismissal as prime minister.
Anutin, who heads the Bhumjaithai Party— the coalition's second-largest member—stated he had no ambitions to become premier himself and emphasized that the Pheu Thai Party, as the coalition's largest part, should take the lead in forming the government.
