A group allegedly linked to the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) vandalized the ruling CPI (M) office in Kattakkada, police reported on Tuesday.
Four individuals were promptly taken into custody following the attack. Their arrests are expected to be recorded shortly, authorities confirmed.
According to police sources, a dispute between party workers from both sides might have triggered the attack. As per the complaint, the party office and furniture were damaged, and Left activists were assaulted during the incident. An ongoing investigation aims to uncover the exact motive behind the attack.
