Rahul Gandhi Addresses Concerns of Right to Food Campaign and Fishermen

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Thursday engaged with delegations from the Right to Food campaign and fishermen from across the country. The discussions took place at the Parliament House reception area after the delegations were denied entry into the Parliament.
The Congress party alleged that the delegations were denied passes to enter Parliament, prompting Gandhi to meet them at the reception. Gandhi expressed his discontent to reporters, stating, "It is our right to meet anyone but they (government) are not allowing us." He added that despite assurances from the Speaker, such delegations continue to face restrictions.
Gandhi reiterated his commitment to meeting with various advocacy groups, including members of the Safai Karamchari Andolan earlier in the day. He emphasized that listening to people's concerns is integral to his role and he will persist in these efforts.
